05/14/26 Honor Mission for Eight Unclaimed Veterans - Marina to Seaside

ALR and PGR has been requested to escort the unclaimed remains of eight veterans to the California Central Coast Veterans Cemetery on Thursday. May 14th 2026.

The veterans we will be honoring are:

• Douglas H. Allen, U.S. Air Force 1971 to 1974
• Eugene W. Berck, U.S. Army 1966
• Jerry. D. Crawford, U.S. Army 1985 to 1989
• Donald N. Fousek, U.S. Army 1970 to 1973
• Robert A. Stillman, U.S. Army 1963 to 1965
• Richard Sweetz, U.S. Army 1983 to 1985
• Jimmie L. Terry, U.S. Marine Corps 1967 to 1970
• Tommy W. Williamson, U.S. Army 1973 to 1975

The importance of our participation cannot be overstated. We must stand in as the families for these veterans, as no next of kin have come forward or been identified. 

Upon arrival at the committal shelter, we will be tasked with carrying the veterans and their respective flags from the transport vehicle to the ceremonial table before taking our places on the flag lines. A massive turnout will be needed to provide the necessary manpower.

• Staging time: 9:30am
• Staging location: Military & Veterans Affairs Office, 2620 1st Ave, Marina, CA 93933
• KSU time: 10:00am
• Destination: CCCVC, 2900 Parker Flats Cut Off Rd, Seaside, CA 93955
• Public is welcome for this event. Attendees that are not riding may drive straight to the CCCVC. Arrive by 10:30am
